Casper

Casper is a very special horse and like we mentioned before, he is Rick’s wingman. His father was Appaloosa and his mother was a Perch Quarter-horse cross. Casper has Moon Blindness which is hereditary for Appaloosas. Some are even born with it. Casper has only 10% sight in one eye and blind in the other. Despite this, he is a natural leader. He loves the natural surroundings at the facility and performs well. With Rick, he leads beautifully. And they continue to learn from one another everyday. Most would have given up on him because of his blindness. He is strong, he is a leader and he thrives.
